Typography is the study of art and design characters (including symbols) in its application to visual communications media through the method of settlement layout, shape, size and nature so.. the message to be delivered as expected.

How to Make a Realistic Colouring Object with Gradient Mesh in Illustrator

Many people say that it is impossible to make a real coloring in vector graphics. But, in fact, There is many good designers can create real coloring in their vector design work. This proves that realistic coloring also can be created in vector graphics. In this tutorial, I will share about how to create realistic coloring to an object.

Create five boxes that we will use as a reference color for realistic coloring process. Set CMYK color to each box.
1st box: C:58,M:3,Y:97,K:0
2nd box: C:40,M:2,Y:80,k:0
3th box: C:21,M:2,Y:42,K:0
4th box: C:11,M,2,Y,22,K:0
5th box: C:6,M:2,Y:10,K:0

Make an apple shape with Pen Tool. Then, select the apple object and select Mesh Tool. by using Mesh tool, add a point at the top of the apple object.

There is Two ways to give color in Mesh Tool. First way, you can select Points of Mesh Tool one by one using Direct Selection Tool. And second way, you can select the many points all at once by select the area using Lasso Tool. It's up to you about way you will to use, depending on whichever you like.
select all points of the right side of your picture using Direct Selection Tool or Lasso Tool. Then push I on your keyboard and pick the color at the first box. Select all points at the left of the apple object then pick the color at third box. Then, also select all points at the middle side and pick the color of Second box.

Add two new points at the left side by using Mesh Tool and then pick the color of the fourth box.

Also add one new point at right side and pick color of the fifth box.

Add two new points add the corner in right side and one at top of object and pick color of the first box.

Add one points of the left side, select them and pick the color of third box.

Now, we have made an realistic coloring apple. continoue with make a leaf on it.

We need to set up a new references color to a leaf. create three box and set CMYK color to each box.
1st box: C:87 M:26 Y:98 K:1
2nd box: C:62 M:4 Y:93 K:0
3th box: C:34 M:1 Y:42 K:0

Create a leaf shape using Pen Tool. go to Object>Create Gradient Mesh. On new window, set Rows and Columns = 4.

Select all the Points at the edge of the leaf, then pick the color of first box.

Select all points in middle of the leaf and pick the color of second box. select two points at arch of the leaf and pick the color of third box to make lighting gradation on leaf.

Storm Effect in Photoshop

Double click on layer which open a new window on your screen. rename as "image" then click ok.

Make a new layer with pushing Ctrl + Shift + N on keyboard, rename the new layer as Storm. then click at foreground color and set CMYK color as: C=100 M=99 Y=24 and K=30. on menu bar, select Edit>Fill> select foreground color then click OK on new window.

Still in storm layer, at menu bar, select Filter>Render>Clouds.

Then, one more time select Filter>Render>difference Clouds.

Ctrl+I on keyboard to select inverse. then Ctrl+L to set the level of layer. set the level like image below.

On column of storm layer, select color dodge.

select Gradient by push G botton on keyboard. select Foreground to Tranparancy. select dark blue as foreground color and make sure that linier type selected.

Still that gradient tool selected, drag your mouse below to the up to make storm only appearing on up of layer.

Do the same thing to make storm not appearing on tree.

No you have image appearing with storm background on the sky. you can also improve this tutorial by doing this tips on your own image.

Professional Magazine Layout with Photoshop

This tutorial will put more emphasis on how to create a professional magazine layout with these easy steps in Adobe Photoshop. You will not be asked to work as the steps in this tutorial, but is expected if you use this tutorial to be able to improvise with your own layout.

Create a new document, size A4.
Create an illustration for background with pentool. make sure that at pentool properties on top of your screen shape selected. give orange as color.

Insert an image that has been masked. I use an image of a woman and I use pentool for masking. Rename layer as "women".

Use pentool, create a form on face, and then right click on mouse, select Make Selection. then, go to menubar, select image> adjustments> hue and saturation. set hue=65 saturation=9 lightness=3. when finished, press Ctrl + D on your keyboard to unselect.

Place the new image object on the layout, such as balloons or other bright pictures.

On layer "women", right click and select duplicate layer. We need another picture of the woman to make background in layout.

On layer "women copy", press Ctrl + T on your keyboard to enlarge the image by drag it while pressing shift key on keyboard. If it is, press enter.

On layer column, select luminocity. Then place layer "women copy" below of layer "women". set opacity 50%.

Place texts on layout of magazines, such as the header title of magazines and other texts that you want to display on your magazine cover. Set and match with layout drawings and magazines design.
Provide illustrations as logo or anything that can make a more colorful layout for your megazine.

Simple 3D Logo with Illustrator

There are many types of simple logo that can created to give a unique impression of a company's image. One of which is to provide 3D effects in it, and this can be easily made using Adobe Illustrator.

First, you need to create a text image, and then, while the text image selected, go to Menubar, select Object>Expand.

Select text object, go to menubar and select Effect>3D>Extrude and Bevel. This step making new window appearing on your screen.

Input the data appearing in this picture below to your 3D Extrude & Bevel. also set perspective to 140. then close the window.

Select your text object then go to Object>Expand Appearence. select the text object then right click and select Ungroup. repeat that step until no object that stil grouped.

Select the two objects at the front and press Ctrl + G on your keyboard to group it. do the same thing to the object in the rear. so now you have two grouped objects on your screen.

Select front text then give a gradient colour like the picture below. select gradient and drag mouse from left to right.

Also give a gradient color to the back text. set the gradient color same as the first gradient. But, set it darker from the first. By select the gradient tool, drag your mouse from left to right of the object.

Now, we have finish to make a 3d logo on illustrator. you can also try to make your own logo with your own object based on this tutorial. Hope to useful. Thanks.

Manipulate of Two Objects in corelDRAW

there are many simple ways to manipulate an object in coreldraw. one of them is to make the selection based on the manipulation of two objects or more. as in this tutorial, I will explain how to manipulate the two objects into a new form. and this is done very easily in coreldraw.
